liber-net is seeking a short-term contractor to lead a campaign to stop Australia’s proposed misinformation bill. The bill is a massive affront to free speech and civil liberties.
We are looking for someone with a background in progressive politics to lead liber-net’s campaign to stop the bill. Unfortunately it is a subset of Progressives that are driving this authoritarian bill. Changing how independents and progressives vote in the Senate is key to the campaign’s success.
The contract will be for 2-3 months (the timeline of the bill remains unclear). Candidates should be available to start immediately.
