“The goal of the Central Asia Media Program (CAMP) is to develop a more balanced information environment in Central Asia to increase openness among youth and adults for different ideas, opinions, and perspectives and in turn increase their engagement in civic participation. 3,375 specialists trained for MediaCAMP and supported 673 projects. As part of the MediaCAMP, Internews launched the School of Documentary Films, School of Investigative Journalism, and Workshop of Media Critics.”
