Veritas is a Berlin-based counseling center for individuals affected by conspiracy beliefs, operating since January 2023 under the auspices of the Interdisciplinary Center for Radicalization Prevention and Democracy Promotion (IZRD e.V.). It provides confidential advice to relatives, employers, and educators through phone, email, online and in-person consultations. In 2024, Veritas received €130,000 from the Berlin State Commission Against Violence (LAKO) and €19,500 from the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband Berlin, supporting its counseling and outreach activities. In 2023, Veritas received €110,000 from LAKO. Activities include the working group Child Protection in the Context of Conspiracy Theories and the 2025 symposium Common Enemies, Shared Narratives.
