This project aims to “Analyse how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is engaging in and leveraging the Pacific Island’s online information environment through a series of data-driven and thematic case studies. This initiative will also “help the Pacific’s democratic partners [who] also need to increase support to, and enhance partnerships with, Pacific Island media outlets and associations in order to build a strong and more resilient media industry that is less vulnerable to disinformation and external influences.”
